Home > QO Drama Department
Quince Orchard Drama includes 4 levels of classes as well as an after-school Theatre Production program.
The classes include: Theatre 1, Theatre 2, Advanced Acting, and Drama Directing. Students also have the opportunity to take and Internship in which they can truly learn the “ins and outs” of theatre production.
Q.O. Theatre has seasons similar to sports seasons(fall, winter, and spring), although the time frame differs slightly. Although it may be beneficial, you are not required to take a theatre class to audition or work backstage on a show. Work usually begins on the fall play the second week of school.
Actors must audition; workshops are held to show you how. Rehearsals are generally 2:30-5 on school days and can run later the week the show opens.
Stage Crew and Business Crew people do not audition. There is only a level of expectation of commitment. We work in the afternoons, evenings, and even some on the weekends. We welcome whatever talents you possess.
